The Most Practical Yeasted Pişi Recipe

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air.
Divide the dough into 8-10 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Gently flatten each ball into a small disc. You can make them as thick or thin as you prefer.
Fry the Pişi:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.
Fry the dough discs in batches, turning them over once they are golden brown on each side (about 2-3 minutes per side).
Remove the Pişi from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
