Use scents… strategically
Certain scents act as repellents:
Peppermint: Soak cotton balls in the scent and place them near doors or cupboards.
Bay leaves or cloves: Perfect for confusing their sense of smell.
White vinegar: Spray in high-traffic areas.
Traps, but gently
There are « live » traps that capture mice without harming them. Once caught, release them far from your home, in a field or forest. The important thing: never release them closer than 1 km, or they’ll come back.
What if all else fails?
If despite your efforts, the mice persist, it’s time to call a professional. Pest control specialists have advanced (and always safe) methods to treat an infestation without harming your home.
