1. Prepare the rice water

Cook the rice in plenty of unsalted water. When the rice is ready, strain the water and let it cool completely.

2. Water the plant

Pour cold rice water directly into the soil  once every 15 days , preferably in the morning. Avoid water stagnation and do not overdo the quantities.

3. Position the plant correctly

Make sure your jade tree receives  at least 6 hours of indirect sunlight per day . Good exposure is essential to stimulate flowering.

When to expect flowering

With proper care and the addition of rice water, you may see small flowers appear  between late winter and spring  . The flowers of the jade tree are delicate, white or pink, and in some varieties , they give off a sweet vanilla scent
